Jacquee Kahn
Certified Hormone Specialist
Perimenopause & Menopause Coach

My Story
- I started my own health journey when I was 21 years old and was diagnosed with Hypothyroid. I've always suffered from a variety of different symptoms and it wasn't until I hit menopause, when I was forced to figure out my health issues on my own, that I realized so many of my symptoms were due to imbalanced hormones.
- When I went through menopause in 2021, I thought I would stop getting my period and maybe experience some hot flashes. Nobody ever educated me on all the changes I could expect to experience during perimenopause and menopause. Doctors - including my female Gynecologist! - failed me. Most doctors, unless they're specifically educated in hormones and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), aren't trained in this area of medicine and don't know how to help women in this transition.
- After seeing four different doctors, who provided me with no answers and no relief (except to tell me that my lack of hormones was "normal" because I was in menopause), I was completely devastated and totally overwhelmed. I decided to take matters into my own hands and I started to educate myself. I discovered that low or no hormones were the missing piece of the puzzle, the holy grail so-to-speak.
For women, our hormones (estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone), are critically important for so many functions in our body. As we age, these hormones can get very low and impact how our bodies function. The more I learned, the more I wanted to know. I was like a sponge with all this new information. So I went back to school and got certified as a Hormone Specialist. Now my goal is to help as many women as I possibly can so they don't have to suffer like I did.

Do You Experience Any Of The Following?
If the answer is YES to any or all of the above symptoms, here's how I can help:
Services
Full Spectrum Care
I combine health coaching with lab tests to help you identify and assess your body's deficiencies. I educate you on your options for BHRT so that you can work with your doctor, a hormone provider, or a medical professional I'm partnered with who is a leading expert in this field.
One-On-One Coaching
I provide one-on-one coaching sessions for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms, focusing on health strategies to manage symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood changes, fatigue, low libido, etc. I work with my clients to develop individualized wellness plans that include nutrition guidance, stress management techniques, and hormone balancing strategies.
Bloodwork + Testing
I order bloodwork for my clients to help optimize their health and see where their hormone levels are. We can do this in partnership with your doctor, which would help you run these labs through insurance. Or I can refer you to an outside lab and offer a discount on testing.
Panel Analysis
I'm proficient in analyzing bloodwork, including, but not limited to: hormone levels, thyroid function, iron levels, comprehensive metabolic panels, and complete blood count, to assess overall health and address numerous symptoms experienced during the perimenopause and menopause phases.
Nutrition Coaching
I identify nutrient deficiencies (examples: Vitamin D, B12, Zinc), and recommend appropriate interventions. I love to educate clients on lifestyle changes that promote well-being, including dietary adjustments and supplements. I provide options for BHRT so that clients can work with an expert hormone provider either their own, or one I have vetted and partnered with.
Holistic Optimization
I have a complete understanding of optimal bloodwork reference ranges for midlife women, and how imbalances may contribute to menopausal symptoms. Even if your doctor says your levels are "normal" or "in range", that doesn't mean your numbers are optimal.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. If you work with me, where does your doctor fit in?
I’m not here to replace your doctor. I’m not an MD. If you work with me, you have two options 1. I can work in concert with your physician, filling in the gaps with vital information most doctors either aren't trained for, or don't have the time to figure out. During my own menopause journey, I discovered most doctors are not educated in perimenopause/menopause treatment. Medical schools offer very little in the way of specialized training in this field. 2. I've partnered with one of the country's top doctors' groups specializing in BHRT, and I can refer you to them for treatment via telehealth.
2. What if your doctor refuses to order labs?
If your doctor isn’t open to perimenopause or menopause-specific treatments, I've got you covered. I run comprehensive bloodwork (at a discounted rate) for my clients, including labs that most doctors don’t even know how to interpret. Plus, I've partnered with one of the nation's top medical groups specializing in BHRT. When you work with me, I can connect you via telehealth with their experts for hormone prescriptions and any other medications you might need.
3. Do you work with women of all ages, or only those in perimenopause or menopause?
I work with women of all ages helping to balance their hormones — including teenagers and those in their 20's and 30's. Long before young women hit perimenopause or menopause, they can experience hormonal imbalances due to factors like birth control pills, IUDs, low vitamin D levels, low iron levels, low progesterone levels, and exposure to environmental toxins. These imbalances can lead to issues like anxiety, depression, irritability, mood swings, heavy menstrual cycles, and severe PMS. The good news is, these problems are often manageable once hormones are properly balanced. For most younger women, I don't recommend HRT. Instead, I suggest a protocol that focuses on bloodwork to check hormone levels, iron levels, and nutrient levels, as well as natural methods, such as vitamins and supplements, to support and balance hormone health. The goal is to get their own hormones to kick in and work optimally. It’s astounding how many younger women are on anti-depressants. Depression and anxiety can be caused by imbalanced hormones, but doctors rarely run bloodwork to check their levels, and most importantly, make sure their estrogen and progesterone levels are perfectly balanced.
4. How to get started?
I offer a 15-minute free telehealth consultation where we discuss your symptoms and decide on a plan of action to get you back to optimal health.
5. What are you waiting for?
If you've tried traditional healthcare and you've experienced insufficient treatment and/or unsatisfying results, and you're frustrated by rushed doctor's appointments and lack of personalized care, you've come to the right place. If you don't know what to do or where to start, you don't need to suffer anymore. Let me help you to heal and balance your body, and educate you on hormones and how to replenish them. I can help you to feel like your old/new self again. We can take baby steps. Or we can put on our big girl panties and jump right in!
